If a Sunset Music Publishing song is to be
used for a film, television show, home video release,
promotion, video games, merchandise, ringtones, playback
tunes, in store play, restaurant play, and / or any other
type of audio-visual use, a "Synchronization" license must
be obtained from the publisher.
The fees for the license are set online here
on this web site (automated system), however, is subject to
negotiation and may vary according to the popularity of the
composition, the timing of it, and the importance of the
composition within the visual production.
This usage is non-exclusive and is totally discretionary to
be approved by the Sunset Music Publishing, and may deny
permission for any reason whatsoever.

Our searchable database features a select pool of popular
songs consisting of popular recordings that span every
genre, style and format of music. Not all SMPC copyrights
are included in the database. New copyrights are added every
week.
